(More pictures below.)
We had a wonderful "Thanksgiving Sunday" at the church yesterday!
There was a really good spirit in the services and we had a dinner after church.
I brought my camera but got sidetracked and forgot to take pictures! Bummer!
Sis. Les did an awesome job decorating the tables. She had fall orange table cloths and vases with trendy fall flowers and ribbons on the table! It was so festive and happy looking!
The food! let me tell you, we had so much food! It was great. No one should of went hungry. All kinds of casseroles and desserts.
The church supplied the turkeys and ham. (I bought too many, but next time I'll know.)
Sisters Lynn, Raines, and Lowery cooked the turkeys and I was so thankful. They did an excellent job.
Sis. Lynn was in charge of the kitchen. She always does such a great job! As did all her helpers!
Les always has my back and she will never know how much that means to me!
The ladies at Antioch are good to me.
Vic, however is another story all together. She announces that the ham tastes sudsy! It didn't taste right, who made it.
Well, I MADE THE HAM!
Mean thing. She had me going. Finally I said, "Well they liked it at Portland!"
The table busted out laughing. Vic was pulling my chain!
Lisa and Lori were so very sweet to bring a sugar free cake and gave me half to take home!!!!!
Chelsei, my self-appointed mom and doctor LOL!, made sure I didn't go into a diabetic coma from all the chocolate and sweets. I love it!
It was a good dinner.
Not bad considering that my pastor only told me last Sunday that as church hostess he wanted me to plan a Thanksgiving Dinner this Sunday!!!!!
I learned a lot and got some wonderful advise that I will use next time!!!!!!
Sunday Night service was Fantastic. Bro. Hall was suppose to preach but the Lord began ministering to needs in our church and people were blessed. It blessed me to see others get so blessed. We need each other. We need to stand in the gap and be courageous and valiant in the Lord.
Sister Emily sang, "Pray On!" I love Sis. Emily. She had such a sincere testimony and request.
Bro. Josh played his saxophone. We are really blessed with young people who desire to please the Lord.
After church we were invited to go to Taco Bell! I haven't been to Taco Bell in a long time and it was good! I'll be exercising 2x a day after all the food.
I had a first .... Are you ready for this ????
Two of our VLB's asked me to arm wrestle them! LOL! I did pretty good even with Gracee trying to distract me!
I laughed most the night. Morgan taught me how to bust a few moves and Chelsei tried to teach me how to talk British. LOL!
Crystal taught me what not to say in New York!Ha!
We had a long drive home and then I crashed!
God is good!

Saved the best for last! LOL!
